Burglary (Commercial) - Glen Burnie

On July 7, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded for a report of a burglary in progress at the Marley Station Mall, 7900 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. As officers were arriving, the suspects attempted to flee but were apprehended by responding incoming officers assisted by K-9. Investigation revealed that the suspects shattered an entry door to the mall and went into the Carnage Gaming and Kicks, removing several boxes of shoes. Officers learned that the vehicle that the suspects arrived in was reported stolen from a neighboring jurisdiction. Four of the five suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.

Burglary / Hate Bias - Severn

On July 6, 2023, at approximately 8:30 a.m., officers responded for a report of a burglary that occurred earlier in the 500 block of Upton Road in Severn. The victim reported that the business was burglarized sometime between the evening hours of July 5th and the early morning hours of July 6th. The suspects burglarized the equipment shed, damaged equipment, stole concession items, and vandalized the walls of the building with graffiti of a racial and sexually derogatory nature.
