Weapons/CDS Violation - Glen Burnie

On July 29, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a Northern District officer conducted a traffic stop of a blue 2005 Saturn on Ritchie Highway near Ordnance Road in Glen Burnie. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer observed suspected drugs inside the vehicle. The investigation resulted in the seizure of two prescription medications not prescribed to the driver: 171 grams of cyclobenzaprine and 14.5 grams of escitalopram. The driver was found to be in possession of a .22 caliber North American Arms folding revolver. He was arrested and charged.

Stolen Auto/CDS Violation - Glen Burnie

On July 29, 2025, at approximately 5:50 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a silver 2021 Acura in the 8000 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. The Acura was reported stolen in Montgomery County. The investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately six grams of suspected Ecstasy, approximately 15 grams of suspected Crack Cocaine, approximately .7 grams of suspected Xanax, approximately .5 grams of suspected Oxycodone, approximately 27 grams of suspected cannabis, and approximately 2.5 grams of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl. The driver and passenger had outstanding arrest warrants and were taken into custody and charged.
