Carjacking - Glen Burnie, MD.

On July 27, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Hillview Drive for a carjacking. The 39-year-old male victim was standing outside his gray 2015 Honda Pilot when he was approached from behind by a male suspect. The male pressed what the victim believed was a handgun into his back and demanded the vehicle. The suspect and a female got into the victim’s vehicle and drove off. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or suspects. Detectives assigned to the regional crimes unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-4730. Burglary/Attempted Burglary - Pasadena

On July 28, 2025, at approximately 3:15 a.m., officers responded to the 7900 block of Sutherland Court for a burglary. A homeowner reported that her door had been kicked in, causing damage to the door frame. Responding officers located two juvenile suspects in the area. Shortly thereafter, a second victim reported an attempted residential burglary in the 3500 block of Old Crown Drive, where two males attempted to kick in their front door. The suspects were positively identified and charged.

Western District
Commercial Armed Robbery - Odenton

On July 27, 2025, at approximately 7:45 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to the High’s store located in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road in Odenton for a weapons incident. Upon arrival, it was determined the suspect robbed the business of currency while threatening the employees with a knife. The suspect fled in a silver sedan.
Suspect: Black male with a heavy build in his 30s, approximately 5’7”-5’8” with short hair, wearing a dark blue t-shirt, dark blue Adidas sweatpants, and black sneakers with orange soles.
Southern District
Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash - Lothian

On July 25, 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m., officers from the Southern District responded to a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Mount Zion Marlboro Road and Main Street in Lothian. Due to the life-threatening injuries sustained by one of the individuals involved, the Crash Reconstruction Team was called to the scene.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2009 Yamaha Star motorcycle was traveling west on Mount Zion Marlboro Road, approaching the interchange with Route 4. A 2012 Honda Accord was turning left from Main Street onto Mount Zion Marlboro Road, heading east. The motorcycle then struck the Honda Accord in the driver's side rear quarter panel as the Accord crossed the westbound lane. This collision caused the operator of the motorcycle to be ejected and land in the roadway.
The operator of the motorcycle was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland and died from her injuries on July 26, 2025. The operator of the Honda Accord was not injured. The Crash Reconstruction Team is continuing to investigate this incident.
