Attempted Murder Arrest - Glen Burnie

On July 24, 2026, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center regarding an injured subject. Officers spoke with the adult male victim who sustained very serious injuries after being assaulted in his residence earlier. The investigation revealed an altercation occurred inside the residence in Glen Burnie, which resulted in the victim’s grandson attacking the victim with a hammer. Officers responded to the residence and located the suspect, who was taken into custody and charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and related charges.
