Weapons Violation Arrest - Hanover

On July 14, 2026, at approximately 9:50 p.m., an officer was conducting a check of Jessup-Dorsey Park in Hanover, which is closed from dusk to dawn, when he observed an occupied parked Nissan Sentra. The officer made contact with the vehicle occupant and developed probable cause to search the vehicle. As a result of the search, the officer seized a loaded 9mm Glock handgun with an obliterated serial number and 14 rounds of ammunition. The vehicle occupant was arrested and charged.
