Robbery (Commercial) Arrest update - Glen Burnie

On January 24, 2024, at approximately 5:05 p.m., officers responded for a commercial robbery at the Pot Belly Sandwich Shop located at 7927 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. A male suspect went behind the counter and implied he had a handgun. The suspect removed money from the cash register and fled in a dark-colored SUV in an unknown direction. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating and asks anyone with information to call 410-222-4720. Black male, approximately 30 years old, wearing a multi-colored face mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, ripped jeans, and black shoes

Update (February 7, 2024): 
Through investigative means, detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division Robbery Unit identified Marcus Jermaine Randall, 37, of Owings Mills, as the suspect in this case. On February 7, 2024, detectives located Randal at his residence, where he was taken into custody and charged.

First Degree Assault - Lothian

On  January 24, 2024, at approximately 1:15 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Seven Oaks Lane and Mt. Zion Marlboro Road for an armed subject. Through investigation, it was determined that the suspect and victim were arguing when the suspect threatened the victim with a handgun and chased the victim down the road. Responding officers located the suspect, who fled when approached. He was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit and found to be in possession of a .40 caliber handgun.  The suspect was arrested and charged.
