Assault Arrest - Laurel

On January 21, 2026, at approximately 2:55 p.m. Western District officers responded to the Garden Inn located in the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed the suspect punched the male victim and then slashed him with a knife during an argument. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The suspect was located nearby and arrested without incident.
