Armed Carjacking - Pasadena

On February 24, 2026, at approximately 11:55 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to a report of a carjacking that took place in the area of Catherine Avenue and Harlem Avenue in Pasadena. Preliminary investigation revealed the victims reported driving on Catherine Avenue when they experienced mechanical issues with their vehicle. They pulled over to inspect the issue, and while doing so, a black SUV suddenly stopped behind their vehicle. At that time, two male suspects armed with handguns exited the vehicle and ordered the victims to give them their vehicle. One suspect entered the victims’ Jeep Compass and fled the scene in their vehicle while the other suspect fled in the suspect vehicle. Numerous officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. Detectives assigned to the Regional Crimes Unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact them at 410-222-4730. CDS Arrest - Glen Burnie

On February 24, 2026, at approximately 10:15 p.m., detectives from the Eastern District Strategic Patrol Team were in the 7900 block of Nolpark Court in Glen Burnie where they observed an occupied black Mercedes parked on the lot displaying Maryland registration plates belonging to another vehicle.
While conducting surveillance, detectives observed a passenger in the rear seat engage in a hand-to-hand transaction with an individual in a second vehicle. Upon making contact with the occupants of the Mercedes, detectives recovered items from the rear passenger indicative of distribution, including 15.77 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 43.30 suspected grams of cannabis, a digital scale, and packaging material. The rear passenger was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.
