Shooting (Non-Contact) - Brooklyn

On February 18, 2024, at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers responded for a report of gunshots in the area of Alley 69 and Dell Street in Brooklyn. Responding officers located a stolen Chevrolet Trailblazer at the scene and several spent shell casings on the ground. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Stabbing - Glen Burnie

On February 19, 2024 at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers responded to Walmart located at 6721 Chesapeake Center Drive in Glen Burnie for a stabbing. Upon officers arrival, it was determined that three males were in a physical altercation when an associated adult female suspect stabbed the victim. During the altercation, the victim’s cellular device fell on the floor. It was taken by one of the suspects. All suspects fled the scene in a red sedan. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects. 1) Black male approximately 18 to 25 years old, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and black pants
2) White female approximately 18 to 25 years old with long red hair, wearing all black clothing
3) White female approximately 35 to 40 years old, wearing all black clothing
Eastern District
Shooting (Non-Contact) - Annapolis

On February 18, 2024 at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Bellerive Drive in Annapolis for a shooting. Witnesses stated they observed a black male wearing all dark clothing exit the passenger side of a black sedan and began firing multiple rounds at an unknown person. Multiple vehicles were struck. Officers located several spent shell casings. There were no injuries reported. On February 19, 2024 at approximately 08:30 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Darlow Drive in Annapolis for a destruction of property. The victim located a bullet in their residence. It is believed that the bullet and damage was a result of the shooting on Bellerive Drive reported the night prior. There were no injuries reported from this incident. Attempted Robbery - Hanover

On February 16, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., officers responded for an attempted robbery at the Exxon gas station located at 7043 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover. The male suspect entered the business, implied he had a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk refused and the suspect fled and was observed boarding a bus bound for Columbia. Howard County Police located the bus and detained the suspect who was positively identified. No weapons were located. The suspect was arrested and charged.

Robbery (Commercial) - Laurel

On February 17, 2024 at 5:10 p.m. officers received a call for a strong-arm robbery that occurred at approximately 10:00 a.m. at the Target located at 3343 Corridor Marketplace. An unknown male suspect asked an employee to open a secure case to look at a mobile device. When the employee opened the case, the suspect pushed the employee, grabbed multiple cellular phones and fled.
