On December 21, 2023, at approximately 10:40 a.m., officers responded for a shooting at a residence in the 7800 block of Levy Court in Pasadena. The investigation revealed that the 37-year-old male victim was engaged in a physical encounter outside the residence, which moved indoors. During the altercation, the suspect withdrew a handgun, shot the victim, and fled in a black Acura. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury to a lower extremity. Responding officers observed the suspect vehicle driven by a subject matching the description of the shooting suspect. The vehicle was stopped on Point Pleasant Road near E. Furnace Branch Road and, through investigative means, identified the driver as the shooting suspect. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
