Shooting Arrest (Non-Contact) - Curtis Bay

On December 1, 2025, at approximately 3:10 p.m., officers responded to the 8200 block of Fort Smallwood Road for a report of shots fired. The investigation revealed the victim was seated in his vehicle when a male suspect approached him and attempted to sell him items. The victim declined the purchase and started backing his vehicle to drive away. The suspect then moved to the front of the victim’s vehicle and pointed a handgun at the victim. The victim quickly drove around the suspect, at which time the suspect moved to the side of the vehicle and fired one shot at the victim, missing both the victim and his vehicle. Responding officers located the suspect in the 8000 block of Fort Smallwood Road. A stolen .40 caliber Smith & Wesson handgun was found near where officers first spotted the suspect. The suspect was arrested and charged.

Weapons Violation Arrest - Severn

On December 1, 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Western District officers were patrolling Provinces Park in the 1700 block of Disney Road in Severn when they observed an occupied vehicle in the park after hours. During the investigation, officers located a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun inside the vehicle. The occupant, who had an outstanding warrant, was arrested and charged.
