Shooting (Non-Contact) Arrest Update - Glen Burnie

On December 17, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the 7900 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie for a report of a non-contact shooting. The 46-year-old male victim reported he was speaking with some acquaintances outside when he was approached by the suspect, who fired two rounds at him. The fired projectiles did not strike the victim. The suspect then fled on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Detectives assigned to the Northern District Detective Unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-3135. Arrest Update - December 19, 2025:
Through investigative means, detectives identified the suspect in this case as 27-year-old Karonta Donnell Curtis of Baltimore. On December 18, 2025, detectives assigned to the Northern District Detective Unit took Curtis into custody. Curtis was found to be in possession of a handgun. Detectives continued to investigate the circumstances of the shooting and, on December 19, 2025, charged Curtis with Attempted First- and Second-Degree Murder, First- and Second-Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and weapons-related charges.
