Stolen Auto Arrests - Annapolis

On August 6, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the 100 block of Jennifer Road in Annapolis after receiving information that a carjacked vehicle was in the area. Officers with assistance from K-9 located the vehicle, a 2014 Dodge Avenger, unoccupied with the keys in the ignition and a BB gun inside. After reviewing security cameras in the area, a suspect was developed.
At approximately 2:45 p.m., two officers observed several individuals in the 100 block of Jennifer Road who matched the description of the suspects involved in the carjacking. All five individuals were detained. One suspect was confirmed to be the individual observed on security footage earlier. The identity of the remaining individuals was provided to law enforcement where the vehicle was taken from in Denton, Maryland. All five suspects were arrested or cited accordingly.
