Western District
Stabbing - Odenton

On August 2, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to the My Place Bar & Lounge in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road in Odenton for a reported stabbing. Initial investigation revealed the adult male victim and the adult male suspect were inside the My Place Bar & Lounge when an argument ensued. The suspect exited the bar, went to his vehicle to grab a knife, and stabbed the victim multiple times in the parking lot. The victim was treated by Fire Department personnel and was transported to Shock Trauma in stable condition. The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers. Western District detectives are investigating the incident, and a person of interest has been identified. Anyone with information is asked to contact 410-222-6155.
Southern District
Attempted Commercial Robbery - Lothian

On August 4, 2025, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Southern District officers responded to the Dash In store located in the 1300 block of Mt. Zion Marlboro Road in Lothian for an attempted robbery of the business. Preliminary investigation revealed the suspect entered the business, implied a weapon and demanded money. The clerk resisted and the suspect fled the business on foot. Officers and K-9 canvassed the area. The investigation is ongoing.
Suspect: Black male, approximately 5’6”, wearing dark clothing and a ski mask.
Northern District
Hit-and-Run Crash - Glen Burnie

On August 3, 2025, at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to a hit-and-run crash on Crain Highway near Main Avenue SW in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival, the Crash Reconstruction Team was contacted due to the severity of the injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a Honda 125R dirt bike was traveling southbound on Crain Highway, weaving through traffic and disobeying traffic control devices. The Honda dirt bike then entered the shared turn lane when a gold or brown/tan-colored minivan, also heading south, made a U-turn to head northbound and collided with the Honda dirt bike. The minivan then fled the scene without stopping or assisting the Honda dirt bike operator. The dirt bike operator, who was not wearing a helmet or any motorcycle safety gear, suffered potentially life-threatening injuries and was transported to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. The Crash Reconstruction Team continues to investigate this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact 410-222-8610.
