Carjacking - Glen Burnie

On August 26, 2026, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Northern District officers responded to the Taco Bell located in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway for a carjacking. Officers spoke with the adult male victim and the suspect's ex-girlfriend and learned that the suspect and his ex-girlfriend got a ride to Taco Bell, and the suspect began acting in an erratic manner. The suspect exited the vehicle and approached a vehicle in the drive-thru lane. He then forcibly removed the victim from the vehicle and began to drive away in reverse. A witness attempted to intervene, and both the witness and victim were struck by the fleeing vehicle. The victim and witness sustained minor injuries from the collision. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect was last seen on I-695 in the Brooklyn Park area. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. Regional Crimes detectives located the vehicle, a 2009 Toyota Corolla, unoccupied, on North Kenwood Drive in Baltimore. Detectives assigned to the Regional Crimes Unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-4730. Weapons Violation Arrest - Severn

On August 26, 2026, at approximately 3:15 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a black Ford Taurus at Falcon Point Drive and Jacobs Road in Severn. During the stop, officers recovered a loaded 9mm Trabzon handgun in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged.
