Assault (Handgun) / CDS Arrest - Linthicum

On August 22, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Northern District officers responded for a report of an assault at a residence in the unit block of Hampton Road in Linthicum. The victim reported a suspect, who was outside her house with a group of individuals, pointed a handgun with a green laser at her window. As officers arrived, they observed several people fleeing the area. One member of the group fled in a gray Tesla, which was quickly located by officers. The driver was detained and officers located a 9mm Polymer 80 handgun and a .40 caliber Glock handgun with green laser attachment. An additional search revealed approximately 55 grams of suspected marijuana, approximately 15 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, 14 Vape cartridge items of suspected marijuana with a total combined weight of approximately 788 grams, a black digital scale, and $13,712 in U.S. currency. The driver was arrested and charged. Northern District Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

Eastern District
Weapons Offense Arrest - Glen Burnie

On August 24, 2025, at approximately 2:20 a.m., Eastern District officers responded to the 300 block of Mountain Ridge Court in Glen Burnie for a report of shots heard in the area. While canvassing the area, several more shots were fired. Officers then located shell casings behind Mountain Ridge Court and a shell casing on the third floor balcony of an apartment. While Eastern District detectives were executing a search warrant for the apartment and searching the surrounding area, a male attempted to flee by jumping from the balcony. He was detained and determined by further investigation to be the suspect who fired the gunshots. A .45 caliber Glock handgun was seized. The suspect was arrested and charged.
