Weapons Violation / CDS Arrest – Linthicum

On April 1, 2026, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Eastern officers responded to the 700 block of Elkridge Landing Road in Linthicum for an armed individual. The caller, a rideshare driver, went inside of a business and called 911 to report that a passenger in his vehicle was in possession of a firearm and also dealing drugs. As officers arrived, they located the suspect seated in the backseat of the caller's vehicle. The suspect complied with officers’ commands to exit the vehicle and was detained. A loaded handgun was recovered from the suspect's waistband, and 1.76 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl, .69 grams of suspected cocaine, six suspected oxycodone pills and 5.1 grams of suspected marijuana were located on the suspect. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
