In October of 2025, detectives assigned to the Northern Strategic Patrol Team began looking into complaints of suspected illegal drug sales in the area of Cross Street and Wasena Avenue in Brooklyn Park. The weeks-long investigation involved identifying individuals and residences involved in criminal activity. From November 10th to November 14th, detectives conducted the following details to apprehend suspects and seize contraband:
On November 10, 2025, detectives observed an individual they recognized as having an outstanding criminal warrant for a probation violation in the area of Cross Street and Wasena Avenue in Brooklyn Park. The individual fled when officers approached, but was quickly apprehended. The suspect was found to be in possession of the following items:
- 17 plastic containers containing suspected crack cocaine - approx. 8.19 grams
- 1 clear vial containing suspected crack cocaine - approx. 1.44 grams
- 1 plastic bag containing suspected crack cocaine - approx. 2.08 grams

On November 10, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m., detectives executed a search warrant on a red Acura on Wasena Avenue and Cross Street in Brooklyn Park. The search resulted in the seizure of the following:
- Approximately 4.44 grams of suspected alprazolam (38 pills)
- Approximately one gram of oxycodone
- $300.00 U.S. currency
The driver was arrested and charged.

- Approximately .33 grams of suspected oxycodone
- Approximately 5.68 grams of suspected crack cocaine
- Approximately 8.09 grams of suspected crack cocaine
- CDS packaging materials
- $6,325.00 U.S. currency

- 22 suspected THC lollipops
- 66 strips suspected buprenorphine
- Approximately 87.46 grams (30 pills) of suspected Fentanyl
- 2 digital scales
- 248 rounds of .22 caliber ammunition
- 290 rounds of .45 caliber ammunition
- 94 rounds of .223 caliber ammunition
- 4 rounds of 9mm ammunition
- 1 round .40 caliber ammunition
- 2 12-gauge shotgun shells
- 3 AR-15 30-round magazines
- $1,419.00 U.S. currency
The suspect was arrested and charged.
