Fatal Pedestrian-Related Motor Vehicle Crash - Hanover

On February 5, 2026, at approximately 12:50 a.m., officers responded to Aviation Boulevard and Amtrak Way for a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 1998 Honda Civic was traveling north on Aviation Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by Fire Department personnel. The crash is under investigation by the Crash Reconstruction Team.
