Recreation & Parks - Weather Cancellations
WEDNESDAY, January 28
- Child care facilities, athletic fields and sites, Arundel Olympic Swim Center, and the North County Recreation Center are CLOSED.
- All events, programs, reservations, and permits for child care facilities, athletic fields and sites, Arundel Olympic Swim Center and the North County Recreation Center are CANCELLED.
- North Arundel Aquatic Center, Deep Run Recreation Center, and South County Recreation Center will OPEN at 10:00 a.m.
- Parks and park visitor centers will open at their normal times. [PARK VISITORS should take extreme caution when visiting the park due to adverse conditions from ice and snow.]
- Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink will OPEN at 12:00 p.m. / Glen Burnie Ice Rink will open at its normal time.

Project Updates
The new ADA-compliant park will include: parking, stormwater management, pickleball courts, tennis courts, multipurpose fields, a dog park, a playground, walking trails, pavilions, bleachers, and open space for other recreational activities. The Department of Public Works (DPW) is in the process of receiving and evaluating bids for the project's construction. DPW will hold a Public Information Session prior to the start of construction.
