About the Program
Stepping On is a 7 week fall prevention workshop. Participants will build confidence and overcome their fear of falling.
Participants who attend the 2 hour class on a weekly basis will learn:
- Strength and balance exercises you can adapt to your individual level
- To get back on your feet and recover from a fall
- To identify and remove or avoid fall hazards in your home and outside
- How vision, hearing, medication and footwear affect your risk of falling
