Assault Arrest - Glen Burnie

On August 16, 2026, at approximately 10:25 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the 400 block of Morningside Drive for a report of a physical disturbance. Upon arrival, officers encountered an adult male suspect inside the residence who was displaying erratic behavior. Officers discovered three victims at the scene who had sustained stab wounds. Officers attempted to de-escalate the situation and ultimately had to deploy Tasers to safely take the suspect into custody. Emergency medical personnel transported all three victims to an area hospital, where they are listed in stable condition. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Carjacking (Armed) - Severn

On August 17, 2026, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Western District officers responded to the 1700 block of Village Square Court in Severn for a report of a carjacking that just occurred. Officers spoke with the adult male victim who indicated he exited his residence and entered his vehicle to go to work when two male suspects approached him. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and demanded the victim get out of the car before both suspects entered the car and fled the area. A short time later, the vehicle was located unoccupied at Provinces Park. Detectives assigned to the Regional Crimes Unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-4730.
