Fatal Crash - Arnold

On July 27, 2026, at approximately at approximately 10:30 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard west of Governor Ritchie Highway. Once on the scene, the Crash Reconstruction Team was requested.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a Mazda 3 was traveling southbound on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard when the driver failed to negotiate a left turn in the roadway. The Mazda left the roadway striking a guardrail and tree. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
The Crash Reconstruction Team processed the scene and will be handling the investigation.
