Robbery (Commercial) - Linthicum

On July 17, 2026, at approximately 3:00 a.m., officers responded to the Dash In located at 724 Nursery Road in Linthicum for an armed robbery of the business. The investigation determined that a suspect entered the store, requested cigarettes, and subsequently brandished a revolver to demand cash. When the clerk was unable to open the register drawer, the suspect used the revolver to strike the register at which time a round was discharged. The suspect fled on foot with stolen merchandise. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Detectives assigned to the Regional Crimes Unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-4730. Weapons Violation - Laurel

On July 17, 2026, at approximately 1:10 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a 2023 Chevy Malibu in the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel. During the stop, the officer discovered a loaded black 9mm Polymer 80 handgun in a satchel beneath the driver’s seat. The driver was arrested and charged.
