Description: Participants will meet at the Cedar Pavilion to participate in a classroom session, learning about the Chesapeake Bay and the creatures that call it home. Following this, Ranger Carter will lead the group to the shoreline, to learn how a seine net is used to safely catch aquatic wildlife. Participants will get to observe our findings, identify species, and learn about the the Bay as a whole and the role we play in it. Entry into the water is OPTIONAL (up to knee height) and close-toed shoes are recommended. Dress for the weather.
