Information Sought in Fatal Pedestrian Incident - Glen Burnie

On July 1, 2026, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Northern District officers responded to the unit block of Cedar Drive in Glen Burnie for a sick/injured subject. Preliminary investigation indicates suspicious circumstances; the individual may have been struck by a vehicle that left the scene. The 31-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene by members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Because of this information, the Crash Reconstruction Team was requested and processed the scene. The Crash Reconstruction Team is currently handling the investigation pending the autopsy findings.
