CDS / Handgun Violation Arrests - Severn

On April 27, 2026, at 7:25 p.m., members of the Western District Strategic Patrol Team conducted a traffic stop on a 2015 Ford Explorer for a traffic violation in the area of Pioneer Drive and Richfield Drive in Severn. Investigation led to a positive K-9 alert. Officers located and seized a Glock handgun, 10.93 grams of suspected cocaine, 1,770 grams (2.58 pounds) of suspected marijuana, $7,105 in U.S. currency, a digital scale and numerous baggies for packaging inside the vehicle. The suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.
