Description: This unique one-week dance camp puts the music in the hands of the dancers! Before camp begins, the instructor will reach out via email where students will get to request their favorite songs. The instructor will incorporate their requests into the dance combinations and activities the students will do in camp for the week. Combinations may include jazz, lyrical, or modern dance styles to match their picks. Throughout the week, dancers will explore musicality, performance quality, and expressive movement while learning original choreography built just for them. This camp encourages creativity, teamwork, and confidence as students see their music choices come to life through dance. Perfect for all experience levels, this high-energy and expressive camp is all about connection, creativity, and having fun through movement — all inspired by the students’ own playlists! Students should wear a leotard and tights or jazz pants. Jazz shoes and/or ballet shoes are recommended.
Participants must provide their own snack, lunch and water.
