Annapolis, MD (March 16, 2025) – Due to inclement weather, Anne Arundel County government will allow employees to use liberal leave starting at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 16, 2026. County buildings will remain open to the general public.
Liberal leave allows employees to use unscheduled annual leave with the approval of their supervisor. Emergency and essential employees will continue to work as scheduled.
All Anne Arundel County Public Library branches will close at 1:00 pm, and all Senior Activity Centers will close at 2:30 pm. County parks, pools, and community centers will close at 2:00 pm.
