Since 2019, the Office of County Executive Steuart Pittman has partnered with the Caucus of African American Leaders to co-host two annual award ceremonies: the Few of the Many Awards (in honor of Black History Month) and the Michelle Obama Awards (in honor of Women’s History Month). These events highlight the contributions of individuals who exemplify leadership, service, and resilience. By engaging diverse audiences, they inspire future community and civic involvement, reinforcing the county’s commitment to celebrating its residents’ accomplishments.

We invite you to join us on March 31, 2026, for a final celebration of these events under the Pittman administration, marking 8 years of honoring remarkable leaders who reflect the diversity and strength of Anne Arundel County.
