DUI / Handgun Arrest - Brooklyn Park

On February 14, 2026, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Northern District officers initiated a traffic stop for a traffic violation in the area of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Hammonds Lane in Brooklyn Park. Officers detected evidence the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence. Additionally, officers observed a loaded handgun on the driver’s seat. During a search of the vehicle, officers located suspected marijuana, smoking devices, and an open bottle of alcohol. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
