On February 5, 2026, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Northern District officers responded to the area of Whitmore Court and Loyd Lane in Glen Burnie for an assault. Preliminary investigation revealed the adult female victim was seated in her vehicle preparing to dispose of trash at a dumpster when she was approached by an unknown male suspect, who began sexually assaulting her. The suspect then attempted to pull her from her vehicle and place her in his vehicle. The victim screamed for help and managed to flee in her vehicle, but noticed the suspect following her in his vehicle.

A description of the suspect vehicle was broadcast to responding officers, who located a vehicle matching the suspect description behind a nearby Lowe's store. A traffic stop was initiated, but the suspect vehicle refused to stop and traveled a short distance onto Juneberry Way before coming to a stop in a snow embankment. The suspect then fled on foot and was located by officers hiding behind a dumpster, where he was taken into custody without incident.
