Stolen Auto/CDS/Theft from Auto Arrest - Glen Burnie

On January 20, 2026, at approximately 11:30 a.m., detectives assigned to the Eastern District Strategic Patrol Team received an alert from an automated license plate reader of a stolen red Hyundai Tucson in the 500 block of E Ordnance Road in Glen Burnie. Detectives located the vehicle and observed the male driver exit the Hyundai and enter a GMC Acadia. The male was taken into custody and found to be in possession of property stolen from the GMC. The property was returned to the GMC owner. Detectives located approximately 19.83 grams of suspected Fentanyl and packaging material in the stolen Hyundai. Further investigation revealed the suspect had outstanding charges for theft of merchandise on January 7, 2026, from Kohl's, located at 418 George Claus Boulevard in Severn, and a theft of merchandise on January 11, 2026, from Nordstrom Rack, located at 2540 Solomon’s Island Road in Annapolis.
