Children were also given new hats and gloves.

"Our firefighters are committed to the safety of our citizens every day, and that takes on a special meaning during the holidays. We are proud to be a part of ensuring that all Anne Arundel county kids have a warm coat, hat, and gloves to stay safe and warm this winter," Anne Arundel county professional firefighter president Joe Addivinola said, via a press release.

"As always, the members of IAFF 1563 are going above and beyond the call of duty to serve our community,” councilwoman Amanda Fiedler said, via a press release.

Back in 2019, the professional fire fighters and their motorcycle club started the "coats for kids Santa run" with the purpose of spreading cheer and warmth throughout the county. Previous schools served include hilltop elementary, park elementary, Linthicum elementary, manor view elementary, Lothian elementary and sunset elementary.
