First Degree Assault Arrest - Glen Burnie

On November 18, 2025, at approximately 5:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of an assault with a handgun at the 7-Eleven, located at 7179 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie. When officers arrived, they found a 44-year-old male employee struggling with a customer and observed a handgun on the floor. The investigation revealed that an argument between the customer and the employee escalated when the customer retrieved a backpack containing a handgun from his vehicle and threatened the employee with his hand inside the backpack. The gun fell out of the backpack while the two struggled. The customer was taken into custody and charged. The weapon, a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun, was reported stolen out of North Carolina.

On November 18, 2025, at approximately 11:15 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a silver Toyota Tundra in the area of Annapolis Road and Piney Orchard Parkway in Odenton. As the officer approached the vehicle, he observed the driver reaching toward the back seat. Further investigation resulted in the seizure of a subcompact Kel-Tec pistol with a collapsible stock. The driver was arrested and charged.
