Homicide Arrest - Pasadena

On November 16, 2025, at approximately 1:55 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Twickenham Road in Pasadena. Upon arrival, officers located two individuals, an adult male and an adult female, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Personnel from the Anne Arundel County Fire Department arrived on scene and pronounced the victims, identified as 54-year-old Jeanna Hayes of Pasadena, Maryland, and 56-year-old William Hayes of Pasadena, Maryland, deceased. 

Homicide Unit detectives arrived on the scene and assumed responsibility for the investigation. Detectives developed a possible suspect and suspect vehicle based on information received on the 911 call and through additional investigative means. At approximately 6:27 p.m., with assistance from the Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) program and coordination with the Real Time Information Center (RTIC), officers located the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop in the area of Severn Road and Ridge Road at which point the suspect vehicle fled. Officers engaged in a pursuit of the vehicle, which ended in the area of Quarterfield Road off of I-97 in Severn. The suspect, 61-year-old Anthony Louis Reyes of Nottingham, Maryland, was taken into custody and charged with First- and Second-Degree Murder and related charges. Preliminary information indicates this was an isolated, targeted incident, and the suspect was known to the victims.

Shooting (non-Contrct) Arrest - Glen BurniE

On November 16, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 400 block of Pamela Road in Glen Burnie. The investigation revealed that two suspects armed with firearms confronted a group of individuals, and one of the suspects pointed a rifle at the group while the other fired several shots into the air. Both suspects then fled. Through investigation, officers obtained the identity of both suspects. One of the suspects was located in his nearby apartment, where a search warrant was executed. A 9mm Canik handgun and a paintball gun resembling a rifle were seized as a result of the search. The first suspect was arrested and charged. Charges are pending against the second suspect. First Degree Assault Arrest - Lothian

On November 14, 2025, at approximately 1:10 p.m., officers responded to an assault with a firearm in the 5600 block of Southern Maryland Boulevard in Lothian. A 22-year-old male reported that as he was driving away from a residence after making a delivery, a male suspect pointed a shotgun at him and threatened him. The delivery driver drove away and reported the incident. Officers identified the suspect, who was later taken into custody and charged with the assault. The shotgun used during the incident was seized.

Southern District

First Degree Assault Arrest - Edgewater

On November 15, 2025, at approximately 1:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the Bubbakoo’s Burritos located at 145 Mitichells Chance Road in Edgewater. Responding officers learned an employee had assaulted his manager, a 43-year-old male, with a knife and fled the business. Officers rendered medical aid to the victim until fire department personnel transported him to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for treatment. The suspect was located outside the business and taken into custody.
