Recreation & Parks - Weather Cancellations

WEDNESDAY, January 28

  • Child care facilities, athletic fields and sites, Arundel Olympic Swim Center, and the North County Recreation Center are CLOSED
  • All events, programs, reservations, and permits for child care facilities, athletic fields and sites, Arundel Olympic Swim Center and the North County Recreation Center are CANCELLED.
  • North Arundel Aquatic Center, Deep Run Recreation Center, and South County Recreation Center will OPEN at 10:00 a.m.
  • Parks and park visitor centers will open at their normal times. [PARK VISITORS should take extreme caution when visiting the park due to adverse conditions from ice and snow.]
  • Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink will OPEN at 12:00 p.m. / Glen Burnie Ice Rink will open at its normal time. 

Project Description

A feasibility study was conducted on Anne Arundel County-owned parks to identify opportunities for water access and recreation in existing parks that do not require a boat, canoe, kayak, or other vessel.
