DPW’s Rowdy Rotifers were honored by the County Council last night in recognition of the team’s first place finish in a recent national competition. The Rotifers - David Kramer, Mike Smith Jr, Andrew Dwarshuis, Alexx Bois and Zachary Tate - competed in events about wastewater operations, including process control, laboratory, safety and collection systems at the 38th annual Operations Challenge Competition during WEFTEC (the Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference). The Rotifers bested 25 other teams to take the top prize in the division. #DPWandYOU
