Robbery (Citizen) - Severn

On July 15, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a robbery of a citizen in the 8400 block of Carinoso Way in Severn. The investigation revealed the victim had made arrangements with the suspect, an acquaintance, to purchase clothing. As the two met, a second suspect approached, implied he had a handgun, and demanded cash and property from the victim. Both suspects then left the area. Responding officers observed one of the suspects crossing Reese Road, but as officers approached, the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was apprehended following a foot chase with the assistance of the K-9 and helicopter units. The second suspect was identified and located shortly thereafter. Both suspects were charged. No weapons were displayed or located during this incident.
