Robbery (Citizen) - Glen Burnie

On July 9, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded for a strong-arm robbery of a citizen that occurred in the area of Bertram Drive and Overhill Road in Glen Burnie. The adult male victim stated he was assaulted and robbed by four unknown males wearing masks. The suspects stole several articles of clothing and a cell phone from the victim before the victim was able to get away and call 911. Officers searched the area; however, no suspects were located. Robbery (Commercial) - Glen Burnie

On July 9, 2025, at approximately 2:45 a.m., officers responded for a robbery of the Royal Farms located at 7908 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. The investigation revealed that two subjects jumped the counter, threatened the employee with a knife, and removed merchandise from the store. The suspects fled on foot. Responding officers began searching the area and requested the K-9 unit, which initiated a track of the suspects. Both suspects were located by the K-9 unit in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway and taken into custody.

CDS Violation/Search Warrant - Annapolis

In June of 2025, detectives assigned to the Eastern District received information regarding possible CDS distribution at a residence located in the 1500 block of Lodge Pole Court in Annapolis. The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at the residence on July 8, 2025, resulting in the seizure of approximately 17 grams of suspected Cocaine, approximately 5 grams of suspected Crack Cocaine, approximately 790 grams of suspected anabolic steroids (19 vials), approximately 11 grams of an unknown white powder substance, a digital scale and $39,850.00 cash. The subject of the investigation was taken into custody at the scene and charged.

Shooting (Non-Contact) - Glen Burnie

On July 8, 2025, at 11:10 p.m., an adult male victim reported a shooting that occurred in the area of Route 100 and Oakwood Road in Glen Burnie. The victim stated he was driving eastbound on Route 100 when the driver of a black SUV pulled alongside him on his driver’s side and pointed a silver handgun at him. The victim heard a single gunshot and saw the SUV swerve off Route 100 onto Oakwood Road, where the victim lost sight of the SUV. The victim had a passenger with him at the time of the incident.
