Commercial Robbery – Edgewater

On May 13, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers responded to the Subway restaurant located at 196 Mayo Road in Edgewater for a report of a robbery. The investigation revealed that the male suspect entered the store, demanded money, and threatened the employee with a hammer when the employee refused. The suspect removed the cash register and fled the scene in a white four-door sedan. Southern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-1960.
