Annapolis, MD - Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman will join key members and leadership of the Maryland Consortium on Coordinated Community Supports and Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) for an informational session on the Coordinated Community Supports Program, which provides expanded behavioral health for more than 4,000 students. This vital initiative, created by the Maryland General Assembly as part of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, aims to broaden access to these crucial services statewide.
Following the Consortium's February 2024 announcement of 129 grants across Maryland, including eight totaling $11,115,000 for Anne Arundel County, this session will provide a comprehensive overview of the program's "Hubs and Spokes" model, which connects service providers directly with schools and students. The event will also feature informational tables showcasing data highlighting the program's impact over the past year, and address community questions.
