Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)

The Anne Arundel County Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) is a multi-discipline, all-hazards plan that establishes a single, comprehensive framework for the management of major emergencies and disasters within the County. The EOP provides guidelines on roles and responsibilities to prevent, mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from the effects of natural, man-made, and technological disasters as well as other major incidents and hazards.

 

Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) Update

The Anne Arundel County Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) Update is a comprehensive evaluation of substantial actions, including hazard profiles, risk assessment, mitigation goals, strategies and projects, and standard practices to reduce or eliminate the long-term risk to human life and property from the effects of natural hazards in a community.

 

Nuisance Flooding Plan (NFP)

The Anne Arundel County Nuisance Flooding Plan (NFP) addresses nuisance flooding, which is defined as high-tide flooding that causes public inconvenience, and dictates increased preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts to shoreline communities facing increasing disturbances from episodic nuisance flooding events.
