If you are having trouble paying your property taxes we encourage you to look at the list of available resources below for financial assistance to help you pay your property taxes.

Homeowner Assistance FundThis program provides residential mortgage assistance and other homeownership related financial assistance to Maryland homeowner’s who have experienced a hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic to avoid loss of residence for eligible homeowners. The program will offer a one-time payment designed to avoid imminent displacement due to, but not limited to: property tax delinquency, chattel loan delinquency, manufactured housing/mobile home loan; or land lease/ground rent delinquency; homeowner or condominium association fee delinquency; home insurance fees delinquency; municipal sewer and water fees delinquency and mortgage delinquency. Energy Assistance ReliefThis program is targeted to customers who do not qualify for the Maryland Energy Assistance Program and other electric and utility programs. Please call the Community Action Agency's 24/7 hotline at 833-888-0401. |
Energy Payment PlansAnne Arundel County has partnered with BGE to offer assistance to families and individuals struggling with past-due balances through a Deferred Payment Arrangement Plan. This plan allows customers to pay the balance off over time in installments with no required down payment. Customers who have the ability to enter into a payment plan can visit BGE.com/assistance or call 1-800-685-0123 to take action to avoid a crisis now. |
