A Taste of Arundel Grown, Arundel Ag’s signature event, celebrates local agriculture by showcasing food, beer, and wine primarily grown, raised, or produced in Anne Arundel County. The event seeks to support local farmers and watermen by raising the visibility of what they produce and encouraging residents and businesses to purchase their products throughout the year. As a bonus, the event supports agriculture in Anne Arundel County by raising funds for our Agricultural Business Improvement Grant (ABIG) Fund and, in 2025, the Center for Applied Technology (CAT) North Future Farmers of America (FFA).

It was a beautiful night to celebrate, recognize and taste food and beverages locally grown in support of Anne Arundel County’s agriculture and farming industry. Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation organized such an incredible event hosted in the beautiful new patio and event space at Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville. The preservation of agricultural land is so important. The ability to diversify and expand farming on existing land, will help our farms continue on for another generation, and hopefully more. My very first bill in 2019 was a bill that allowed farm breweries in Anne Arundel County. District 5 is now home to the county’s first (and only) farm brewery, located on the Broadneck Peninsula! Support your local farmers as often as you can, through local farm stands and farmers markets.
