On May 4, I had the pleasure of meeting with a group of scouts in Annapolis prior to our legislative meeting. It is always a joy to engage with scout troops; they are eager to learn and consistently ask insightful questions. This particular troop did an excellent job leading the Pledge of Allegiance to start our session.
I would like to extend a special thank you to Heather Steven, the Merit Badge counselor for Scouts BSA Troop 835 in Arnold / Cape St. Claire. Ms. Steven brought six scouts to Annapolis to work on their Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge.
If you have a group of young people interested in visiting and learning more about local government, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
