Thank you to the Eastern District Police Community Relations Council - Anne Arundel for recognizing the work and leadership of four members of our police department and for allowing me the opportunity to present council citations. The PCRC is a great way to meet the police leadership of eastern district, the officers who serve and protect the fifth district daily. I encourage communities to send a representative to the monthly meetings and learn more about the safety issues in our community, how you can help and what our officers are doing to address it. The Anne Arundel County Police Department is the best darn department in the country, and these four recipients are perfect examples of why.

Officer of the Year: Officer Moreland
Detective of the Year: Detective Peacock
Sergeant of the Year: Sergeant Ringler
Reserve Officer of the Year: Reserve Office Hankey
