On March 7, I had the honor of attending the honorary street naming of Ferber Avenue to Lt. Christopher J. Higgins Memorial Ave.
Lt. Higgins began his career in Anne Arundel County and passed away while on duty with the Montgomery County Fire Department. The street in Arnold where he grew up and where his family still resides will now forever recognize our local hero.
