Why should you enjoy lunch on us?
- Through our Senior Nutrition Program, we strive to benefit the community by serving healthy, nutritious meals while dining and socializing with friends.
- You will enjoy a meal on us five days a week! These meals are reviewed by a registered dietician to ensure they meet the recommended daily nutrition requirements.
- The meals are free!
How do I register for a free meal?
- It’s easy! If you are 60 years of age and older, you can register any time!
- Visit the Nutrition Site Aide or any staff member from the Senior Activity Center to find out just how easy it is.
- You can also call the Senior Nutrition Program at 410-222-0256, or visit us online at www.aacounty.org/aging/senior-nutrition.
- If you are ages 55-59, you are still eligible for a meal at a reduced fee. Ask the Nutrition Site Aide or any staff member at the Senior Activity Center for details.
What happens after I register for a meal?
- Let our staff know which days you will be attending the center, to receive your meal.
- After that, you just show up for your meal, check in with the Nutrition Site Aide for the center, and then you ready to eat!
What comes with a meal?
- Meals are based on a well-balanced diet.
- Ask the Nutrition Site Aide or any Senior Activity Center staff for the monthly menu.
- Centers host special meals from local restaurants at various times of the year. The registrations for these meals are advertised in the centers’ monthly newsletters.
What if I didn’t register for a meal and would like to eat today?
- If there are extra meals, you can certainly eat with us today!
- If there aren’t any extra meals, we have a Grab ‘n Go bag for you today!

Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition ProgramThe Senior Farmers Market Coupon Program was created to promote healthy eating habits, to provide a source of wholesome, fresh vegetables, fruits, and cut herbs, and to increase the awareness and use of Maryland’s Farmers’ Markets.
