WEDNESDAY, January 28
- Child care facilities, athletic fields and sites, Arundel Olympic Swim Center, and the North County Recreation Center are CLOSED.
- All events, programs, reservations, and permits for child care facilities, athletic fields and sites, Arundel Olympic Swim Center and the North County Recreation Center are CANCELLED.
- North Arundel Aquatic Center, Deep Run Recreation Center, and South County Recreation Center will OPEN at 10:00 a.m.
- Parks and park visitor centers will open at their normal times. [PARK VISITORS should take extreme caution when visiting the park due to adverse conditions from ice and snow.]
- Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink will OPEN at 12:00 p.m. / Glen Burnie Ice Rink will open at its normal time.
Active Projects
Project Description
This project is to plan and conceptualize a design for improvements to Crofton Park to include a street hockey rink, a skate park, and other amenities, including shade structures, benches, and a gazebo. Other elements of work include parking improvements, stormwater management, landscaping, and examining the existing trail network to create a continuous path around the park, as well as neighboring areas.
